About the Author
Dr. Heaney-Hunter teaches pastoral theology at St. John's University in New York. She holds a doctorate in theology from Fordham University and a master's in mental health counseling from Long Island University, both in New York state, where she is licensed to practice mental health counseling. She is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and educator on marriage and family ministry in the Catholic Church. She coauthored "Unitas", a pair of couples and leaders guides on marriage preparation, for Crossroad Publishing.

Excellent marriage prep guide

This book (and its accompanying couple's guide) is an excellent marriage preparation resource. Whether religious or not, the seven-part course covers the basics and foundations for building a successful marriage. Having participated as students and instructors, we have learned, and keep learning more each time through. Well written, easy to understand and communicate, and thoroughly helpful!
